Specialists with experience in the Haitian Health System required to provide technical assistance within the South of Haiti.

- Minimum of five (5) years post-graduation experience in a position involving HIV/TB, maternal and child health, community health or related health services.
- Experience in the implementation and management of health development projects, preferably in developing country context.
- Knowledge of Haitian operating environment preferred: experience in the Haitian Health system and working with the MSPP/PNLS preferred;
- Fluency in French and Creole with strong oral communication and writing skills required; knowledge of English is a plus;
- Master’s degree in public health, infectious disease, health administration, or related field is preferred.
- Managerial and operational experience, donor-funded activities involving coordination with multiple program partners and institutions.
- Ability to write clearly, concisely, and descriptively;
- Ability to provide leadership and stability to field staff;
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and initiative. Ability to lead groups and provide training and technical assistance to staff and teaching staff.
- Ability to monitor, analyze and evaluate program systems and procedures, making and coordinating appropriate changes. Skill in collecting and analyzing data; prepare reports and maintain records.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to establish good rapport with other staff, clients, and the general public.
- Ability to effectively speak before a group, the public or community officials.
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
- Must be familiar with common editing software: MS Office Word, Excel and Power Point
- Willingness to frequently travel to sites and other areas as needed
