The Health Program will oversee a Health project in the South, with a focus on reproductive health, child and maternal health, and HIV.

- Strengthen technical alignment with national and global best practices.
- Ensure that approaches are technically sound and effective at impacting coverage and quality of MCH, HIV/TB, WASH, Infectious diseases services and Disaster and Preparedness.
- Provide leadership for, and oversee the strategic planning of activities in support of the program goals and objectives, including the determination of program priorities, development of realistic and effective activities and appropriate technical initiatives for meeting those needs

• Minimum of a master’s degree in public health, nursing, health education, health administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a position involving community health education, public health, maternal and child health, or related health services.
• Knowledge of Haitian operating environment preferred: experience in the Haitian Health system
• International work experience and/or with international development assistance projects a plus.
• Ability to write clearly, concisely, and descriptively.
• Ability to provide leadership and stability to field staff for program continuity.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and initiative. Ability to lead groups and provide training and technical assistance to staff and teaching staff.
• Ability to monitor, analyze and evaluate program systems and procedures, making and coordinating appropriate changes. Skill in collecting and analyzing data; prepare reports and maintain records.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Ability to establish good rapport with other staff, clients, and the general public.
• Ability to effectively speak before a group, the public or community officials.
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
• Must be familiar with common editing software: MS Office Word, Excel and Power Point
• Proficiency in written and oral English, French and Creole required
