Project Medishare for Haiti (PM) is a nonprofit organization that empowers Haitians to provide and receive access to quality healthcare. We share our knowledge and resources with local partners to improve health infrastructure and grow the skills of medical professionals. We work with communities, government institutions, local organizations, and global medical professionals to enhance the quality of life of Haitian families by strengthening local healthcare capacity. We seek a dynamic, self-driven and highly focused individual to join our team in Thomonde in the Central Plateau. The Clinic Administrator/Manager position is full-time with time equally divided between two medical centers in the Central Plateau, Marmont and Lahoye.
Fonctions
• Oversee each clinic’s infrastructure, electrical power system, computer network, water systems, and electronic medical record system and alert Operations staff to problems
• Oversee all clinic inventory and supplies, and, with the supervising physician, receive and evaluate all requests for the purchase of supplies, medicines, equipment, etc.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinic administration including patient registration, required reporting, timesheets, etc.
• Enforce organization-wide policies and procedures with all clinic staff
• Participate in the screening, hiring, and supervising of non-medical personnel
• Ensure strict adherence to MSPP regulations and procedures at each site and serve as a liaison with MSPP
• Work with the supervising physicians to ensure continual professional training of staff. Work with HR to conduct non-medical training of staff in areas such as professional communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
• Continually work to improve the patient experience at each center
Qualifications Requises
• Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Must be fluent in Haitian Creole and French; knowledge of spoken English beneficial
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in clinical administration or management, specifically with clinics or hospitals under Le Ministère de la Santé Publique et de la Population
• Can maintain and protect confidential information at all times
• Proficient in MS Office and Google applications
• Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Experience successfully mediating conflict disputes
• Self-driven, solutions-oriented and require minimal direction
• Strong work ethic with a high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness
