Abt is seeking well-qualified Digital Health Specialist candidates for its SHOPS Plus Haiti project. This role will entail overall responsibility for contract fulfillment and compliance in country. The Digital Health Specialist will be the dedicated resource responsible for monitoring the digital health platform, receiving and validating the Viamo report on the traffic negated by the use of the short code, updating the SMS and IVR content on the platform.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Digital Health Specialist will lead the project Digital Health activities. He/She will be responsible for monitoring the Digital Health platform and following up with Viamo any maintenance and update on the platform as needed. He/She will produce periodic analysis of the data generated by the SMS and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) traffic on the platform.

Responsibilities
• Monitor on a daily basis the effectiveness of the double way communication (SMS and IVR) services linked to the project short code (8234) and follow-up immediately with Viamo in case of non-functionality of any of the mechanisms
• Plan periodic promotional activities aiming at promoting the use of the short code including SMS push to Digicel clients, Facebook posts, distribution of print materials, radio shows, etc.…
• Supervise the digital health activities conducted by the health communication consultant
• Conduct detailed analyses to draw conclusions, and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations based on the data generated by the short code use
• As needed, work closely with the SHOPS Plus communications team, CADME/MSPP and Viamo to update the on-demand content on the platform
• Finalize and implement the dissemination plan of the project digital health print promotional materials
• Organize periodic meeting with the technical staff to present and analyze the digital health data
• Ensure the implementation of the project digital health sustainability plan
• Present the project digital strategy and activities to the donor and partners as needed
• Work closely with the communications team to use the digital health data to inform the project communications activities.

• 7+ years of related professional experience across Innovation, Digital, Product Development, organizational change management.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Engineering required, MS degree preferred.
• Proven experience conceiving and delivering innovative solutions that leverage information technology and data
• Experience working in a Global Organization supporting health communication initiatives
• Experience and a comprehensive knowledge of technology, digital solutions, information systems
• Ability to successfully establish, optimize and efficiently run multiple platform, product development and services teams
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to condense data to synthesize crisp and easily understandable deliverables.
