Ayiti Air Anbilans is the first and only helicopter emergency transport service in the country of Haiti. We fly the people and visitors of Haiti based solely on medical need. Ayiti Air Anbilans currently seeks a Chef Administrateur for its base of operations in Port-au-Prince. This position is exciting, fast-paced and serves as the brains of our administration. Duties consist of communications internally between all departments as well as interfacing with the public, patients and vendors regarding bookkeeping and accounting matters

• English is the official language of all aviation and therefore our operations, excellent fluency is required
• Must be fluent in reading and writing of English, Kreyol and French; Spanish a plus
• Must be able to multi-task and remain calm in emergency situations
• Basic computer skills required (word, excel, web-based programs)
• Expert knowledge of QuickBooks a must
• Ability to oversee and execute accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll and all G/L bookkeeping functions
• Provide accurate and rapid estimates for transport requests
• All phases of patient invoicing, collections and payment plans
• Experience handling tax matters and working with outside accountants to ensure compliance
• Knowledge of handling human resources such as payroll, record keeping, BONI, etc.
• Ability to manage support staff such as drivers, facilities and others
• Inventory management of office supplies
• Ability to maintain work orders of repairs and other needs at base of operations and staff housing
• Dedicated professionalism while working independently
• Absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times
• Minimum 10 years in related capacity required

This position is supervised by the Program Director. It is based in Port-au-Prince.
