NRECA International is managing and operating a 10MW HFO-diesel power plant in the north of Haiti. Funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development in partnership with the Government of Haiti, the Pilot Project for Sustainable Electricity Distribution power utility provides modern electricity services to the Caracol Industrial Park where it is located, and the surrounding communes. Currently, PPSELD has around 14,000 clients and 270 km of distribution lines.

NRECA International is seeking to hire a Finance and Administration Manager for this project who will reside in Caracol, Haiti.

The PPSELD Finance and Administration Manager’s duties and responsibilities include but at not limited to:
a) Oversight of PPSELD utility accounting functions and financial reporting;
b) Management/oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment of current accounts, and all PPSELD banking functions;
c) Preparation and presentation of PPSELD annual budgets;
d) Oversight of human resources management;
e) Oversight of procurement and warehousing;
f) Oversight of information technology support (data processing support);
g) Oversight of PPSELD security
h) Oversight of PPSELD vehicle fleet
i) Prepare the project local cost reports
j) Prepare PPSELD financial reports on a monthly basis.
k) Other duties assigned by PPSELD General Manager and/or Chief of Party.

• A degree in Accounting.
• Six years minimum of experience in accounting.
• Three years of experience in management and/or supervisor positions.
• Excellent working level skill in French, Creole and English (or Spanish) is required.

Haitian citizenship is required. PPSELD/NRECA IS LOCATED CARACOL, NORTHEAST HAITI.
