Introduction

OVCII is a program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that support children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS in Haiti to grow into healthy educated young adults free from violence and the ill-effects of HIV ‘Mission statement”.


Fonctions

- Manage and supervise the delivery of the overall Health education program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization;
- Develop and implement curriculum of all the Health education program activities for instance community clubs, professional training, sex workers, Kids clubs, Mothers Club, Peer educators, School-based, Partners, etc for educational and psychosocial support;
- Train and lead trainings of teachers, nurse coordinators, community leaders , agents, beneficiaries etc. on curriculums of our different programs;
- Ensure that all messages are well diffused and accessible to all Caris offices;
- Ensure all questionnaires are passed, collected, and registered on our system accordingly;
- Develop and implement a program evaluation framework (curriculum and operations) to assess the strengths and quality of the program and to identify areas for improvement;
- Monitor and track the progress of the evaluations of the clubs to ensure quality;
- Conduct visits and follow ups on our work with Caris partners and offices in the provinces;
- Make recommendations for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services;
- Record all the document program activities;
- Report to Program Manager and Directors on the different activities of the Health Education program;
- Plan new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the program;
- Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program;
- Ensure that all the program activities operate within the procedures and comply with all relevant professional standards;
- Collaborate professionally with the partners of our program;
- Plan and participate in any Caris event;
- Perform other related duties as needed.


Qualifications Requises

- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as HIV, health, education, medical degree
- 7 to 10 years of extensive international development experience managing large grant-funded projects.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in program monitoring and evaluation, two of which include prior work experience with international organizations, preferably USAID Contractors or grantees.
- Familiarity with USAID regulations, especially in terms of completing data quality assessment, reporting on indicators is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to establish productive relationships with senior government officials, the business community, civil society, and international donors.
- Ability to integrate teams of professionals around common goals.
- Strong presentation and report writing skills.
- Experience in briefing high level managers.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Familiarity with Haitian Creole .
