Introduction
In partnership with the Ministry of Health and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), ICAP will conduct a Population-based HIV impact assessment (PHIA) to estimate the population –level impact of the national HIV prevention, care and treatment programs in Haiti. The goal of this project, called PHIA, is to identify the national level key HIV-related outcomes, including HIV incidence, HIV prevalence and HIV viral load suppression, as well as prevalence of high-risk behaviors and uptake of HIV-related services. The objective of PHIA is to measure the reach of the country’s HIV prevention, care and treatment services, guide policy and set funding.
Fonctions
OVERALL JOB FUNCTION
Report to the Warehouse Officer, the Logistics Officer for Warehouse is responsible for the proper management of materials purchased for the implementation of the HaPHIA Project.
Major Duties and responsibilities:
· Maintains security of supplies, equipment, parts and materials
· Maintain up-to date records on the inventory automated system for all stock items received, shipped or distributed on a real time basis and in accordance with established procedures.
· Cross-check the quantity of actual delivery of supplies/equipment against Purchase Order, Invoice, Packing List, etc. Get the signed technical inspection report from the concerned technical or requesting person
· Keep the track of shelf-life of each drugs, reagents, supplies, etc. and report same on monthly basis.
· Reconcile the balance maintained on the system with that of the actual balance at least month basis.
· Makes daily data entries for accurate inventory controls including receiving, shipping and disposal functions,
· Ensure that the necessary documents are signed off and approved by the authorized personnel before issuing or receiving any materials,
· Undertake follow-up on the availability of sufficient materials in the store. Generate Purchase Requisitions for all stocked items that are at minimum, or below reorder point.
· Make sure that the delivered items are as per the required specification or technical quality,
· Collect Good Receiving Note or confirmation letter for each material sent out to satellite labs or other recipients. Keep itemized documents for each material support.
· Maintain and update Property Log for all equipment issued for the project activities.
· Assist in the periodic physical count of items in the stores. This will include organizing materials in storerooms, grouping like items together, getting the stores cleaned before the date of stock take, segregating damaged items, and rearranging stock items as necessary so that all like items are stored in the same location to prevent errors and misidentification of stock.
· Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications Requises
Job Requirements
·Associate Degree in Business Administration and/or Supplies Management of related discipline
·A minimum of 4 years of work experience in the area of Inventory/Materials Management/ logistics
·Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other department staff, managers and external bodies.
·Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
·Proficiency in relevant computer applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, etc.
·Fluency in French, English communication skills.
