Introduction
In partnership with the Ministry of Health and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), ICAP will conduct a Population-based HIV impact assessment (PHIA) to estimate the population –level impact of the national HIV prevention, care and treatment programs in Haiti. The goal of this project, called PHIA, is to identify the national level key HIV-related outcomes, including HIV incidence, HIV prevalence and HIV viral load suppression, as well as prevalence of high-risk behaviors and uptake of HIV-related services. The objective of PHIA is to measure the reach of the country’s HIV prevention, care and treatment services, guide policy and set funding.
Fonctions
OVERALL JOB FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Procurement and Logistics Officer, the Assistant Logistics Officer-Transport assists the Procurement and Logistics officer in facilitation of transportation and accommodation for HaPHIA Project staff, and provision of other logistics supports required for the implementation of the Project.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Assists the logistics officer in monitoring fuel consumption for all vehicles that are deployed for the project operation. Reconcile fuel consumption with the supplier, and facilitate for fuel replenishment,
Ø Assists the logistics officer in crosschecking the vehicle log sheet with the vehicle rental payment request and settle payments in a timely manner
Ø Ensure transport needs of staffs and programming are addressed
Ø Keeping up-to-date records for each and every movement of vehicles
Ø Make sure that all rental vehicles are covered with the appropriate insurance policies,
Ø Book air tickets and reserve rooms for ICAP staff/guest, and facilitate for the timely settlement of airfare fees and hotel bills
Ø Provide general logistics support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying services to other HaPHIA units.
Ø Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system.
Ø Ensure all transport operations follows ICAP SOP and transport procedures
Ø Perform other related tasks as assigned to him/her by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications Requises
Job Requirements
? BA in Administration, Management or related discipline
? A minimum of 3 years of work experience in the area of Transport Management /logistics
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other department staff, managers and external bodies.
? Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
? Proficiency in relevant computer applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, etc.
? Fluency in French, English communication skills.
