Introduction
Everest Apparel (Haiti) S.A has been present in Haiti since 2017. We specialize in the manufacture of clothing located in the Caracol industrial park, North East. We are looking for young people from 25 to 30 for our offices in the fields of ‘’Shipping”, “Human Resources”, “Business management”, “Finance” and “Garment production”. You may need to lead a team to complete a range of duties in different departments in the factory
Fonctions
• Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
• Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
• Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
• Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders
• Supervise and lead subordinates (receiving clerks, order pickers etc.)
• Control budget of the shipping department
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes
• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
• Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
• Report to management on activities and issues
• Payroll and Benefits Administration
• Processing payroll, which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system
• Facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors
• Performing payroll and benefits audits and recommending any correction action
• Maintaining current HR files and databases
• Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records
• Maintaining records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
• Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
• Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exist interviews
• Recruitment/New Hire Process
• Participating in recruitment efforts
• Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications
• Collecting employment and tax information
• Ensuring background and reference checks are complete
• Good understanding of local labor legislation
• Assessing project and resource requirements
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
• Determining quality control standards
• Supervising the work of junior staff
• Organizing relevant training sessions
Qualifications Requises
To effectively perform the duties, individuals must be able to demonstrate a number of competencies that are essential to the position, which include:
• Be fluent in spoken and written English and French ,must have strong writing skills
• Dynamic Candidate Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
• Capable of working a consistent schedule starting at 6 AM to x… when it’s necessary
• Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
• Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner
• Effective Communicator
• Be comfortable in interacting
• Be an enthusiastic contributor to the teamwork
• Be able to handle the pressure that comes with many customer requests in short time periods
• Have a strong professional ethic regarding quality work, integrity, and respect. /A team player with leadership skills
• Knowledge of Word and Excel software
Conditions particulières
1- Minimum level of education required: Degree from a recognized university in the fields listed below or related fields.
2- Minimum level of experience required: 1 year experience at least or inexperienced also is no problem.
Conditions de travail
• Monday to Saturday from 06:45 to 16:00 PM
• Weekly salary paid twice a month.
• Regular trips to external office or companies during the working time
