About PADF
Created in 1962 through a unique agreement between the Organization of American States (OAS) and the private sector, the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) is an independent, non-profit organization 501(c)(3) that creates public-private partnerships to assist the least advantaged people in Latin America and the Caribbean. Having worked in every country in the region, PADF engages community-based groups, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), public and the private sector in the process of implementing appropriate solutions for sustainable development. Job Summary:
The Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) seeks a Counter-Trafficking in Persons and Deinstitutionalization for a forthcoming US-funded project focused on trafficking in persons (TIP). This multi-year program will work closely to implement prosecution, protection, and prevention activities to combat trafficking in persons. The Counter-Trafficking in Persons and Deinstitutionalization specialist will be responsible for ensuring project activities are carried out in accordance with the national and international human rights standards. He/ She is also responsible for coordinating with relevant stakeholders and, ensuring all reporting is duly completed. He/ She will also provide technical assistance throughout the life of the project on counter- trafficking and deinstitutionalization issues.


Fonctions

The candidate will have responsibility for ensure the effective implementation of counter-trafficking project components. These will include but not be limited to:
• Coordinate relevant research and programmatic activities in Haiti;
• Promote the implementation and ensure dissemination of awareness-raising tools and materials developed by the PADF;
• Maintain prevention materials inventory;
• Act as the Communications Focal Point for Counter-Trafficking efforts;
• Monitor updates and ensure adherence to all donor visibility requirements.
• Conduct data collection activities as per the USAID approved data collection tools, work plan, data analysis plan and quality assurance plan.
• Participate in the analysis of qualitative information and quantitative data collected to respond to the evaluation questions.


Qualifications Requises

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as sociology, political science, international development, law, human Rights project management, or related field;
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in project management, preferably with development projects such as USAID or other donors.
• Solid understanding of and experience in human rights, counter-trafficking, child protection and deinstitutionalization in Haiti or other francophone countries and knowledge of Haitian counterparts and individuals and organizations active or interested in human rights issues is required;
• Proven experience contributing to the design and/or implementation of, Democracy, Human Rights and Governance, monitoring and evaluation programs to include indicator measurement, data quality assessments (DQAs), evaluations, etc.
• Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, creative problem-solving, ethical management and integrity;
• Proven success in community-led, sector-specific approaches in counter-trafficking or human rights.
