Introduction
The Procurement and Supply Management project will be the primary vehicle through which USAID will 1) procure and provide health commodities, 2) provide technical assistance to improve partner countries’ management of the supply chain, and 3) collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives. The Haiti office will work under two of the project’s task orders (HIV/AIDS and Population and Reproductive Health) to provide commodities and supply chain technical assistance.
Fonctions
Inventory and material control Management
• Effectively manage the project inventory equipment;
• Will be the main point of contact for the reception of materials (Port-au-Prince and Regional offices). He/She will follow the steps to proper receiving, inspecting and verifying all incoming equipment, furniture and schedule deliveries as needed;
• Responsible to assign labels on new materials/equipment’s purchased by the project or transferred from another project;
• Ensure that the positioning of the stickers on the equipment is respected in a strict and rigorous way;
• Ensure that all standards and exercises for assets accountability and records are in place, and are sufficient;
• Update the inventory tracker day-to-day
• Implement a system to perform the physical inventories at Port-au-Prince and regional offices every six (6) months;
• Reports any discard or difference noticed during the physical inventory;
• Ensure loss reports are submitted promptly with the relevant signatures, and that all records are updated with such losses and write-offs;
• Submit inventory reports at the request by her supervisor;
• Establish, with the support of his supervisor, a system of inventory of obsolete and broken equipment;
• Assist his supervisor in the efficient and effective management of project assets;
• Archive all documents received from Procurement equipment;
• Assist the General Services Officer in managing the maintenance of assets and ensure that their physical inventory is conducted in accordance with Chemonics standards;
• Responsible to distribute the necessary office equipment to new employees
• Ensure the proper refill of water and fuel in the offices and the warehouse
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by her supervisor.
Qualifications Requises
• Degree preferred or technical diploma in administration sciences, logistics or related field;
• Have a minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience
• Experience in Fixed asset and Stock management
• Experience working in teams
• General awareness and good knowledge of Office programs including MS Word, Power Point, Excel and spreadsheets
• Fluency in Creole, French and English
