GOAL been in Haiti since the devastating earthquake in January 2010 and has since then developed a programme portfolio targeting affected communities and supporting resilience building at household and community level. This program, funded by the European Union, is in line with GOAL’s integrated community-led model and will include urban planning, in line with CIAT methodology; infrastructure repair/construction, in line with the Build Back Better approach; livelihoods/Income Generation Activities as well as support community-managed DRR, for the global objective of building more resilient communities.
