Maternal, Adolescent & Child Health (MatCH) is a division of the Wits Health Consortium under the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. MatCH is a consortium partner implementing the EQUIP project in Ghana. EQUIP is a grant to implement projects in five key solution areas - innovative models of ART service delivery; innovative approaches to support viral load scale-up; strategies and technologies to more effectively identify and link patients to treatment, foster ongoing adherence and retention; identify approaches that respond to the needs of key populations and promising “Test and Start” strategies.
MatCH is looking for the following staff to join their EQUIP Team based in Ghana.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To lead and coordinate KP and PrEP activities in Haiti, with a particular focus on community-engagement, clinical competency and support for PrEP implementation.

Key Performance Areas:
•Provide technical support in relation to the country work plan to develop strategies to increase and sustain KP engagement and HCT.
•Provide peer educator training.
•Ensure quality implementation of community-based strategies through monthly monitoring and the iterative development of solutions.
•Provide KP clinical competency training for site providers.
•Establish mentorship and ongoing technical assistance systems so that KP competency is maintained.
•Evaluate the competency of trainees both immediately after training and during ongoing mentorship.
•Offer input into training solutions based on specific in-country need.
•Report to EQUIP Haiti and Anova Health Institute at agreed upon intervals regarding support for community-based strategies KP clinical competency
•Ensure requests from PrEP TWG chairs are implemented efficiently.
•Support and conduct training for staff at PrEP implementing sites.
•Conduct regularly scheduled site monitoring visits to identify challenges or barriers to PrEP implementation.
•Implement technical support activities in collaboration with Anova Health Institute as needed per site.
•Ensure effective reporting among PrEP demonstration sites.
•Establish communication channels between PrEP stakeholders to align data management and implementation policy.
•Support the further inclusion of PrEP guidance within relevant policy documentation.
•Assess and seek out strategic opportunities across projects for the support of future PrEP initiatives.
•Support EQUIP Haiti on other activities, as required.
Qualifications Requises
Required minimum education and training:
•Medical degree from an accredited tertiary education institution
•Licence to practice medicine in Haiti
Minimum work experience
•At least 5 years of experience in clinical /public health

•Excellent communication, reporting, writing, and facilitation skills to support engagement with multiple stakeholders across various aspects of the health care system
•Ability to train various cadres of clinical staff
•Community-based programming knowledge
Ability to assess complex health systems dynamics.
