This position is responsible to:
• Design a strategic plan to reach and work with the IDP settlement residents and committees;
• Work with the trainers on the Emergency DRR training curriculum;
• Facilitate the organization of the trainings in the IDP settlements;
• Design a training strategic plan for the project team and the IDP settlement committees;
• Train the mobile teams in community mobilisation and community sensitization;
• Supervise and give constant and appropriate support to the community workers in the implementation of the community activities;
• Provide support to the IDP committees in designing the disaster response plan and the awareness raising strategy, and provide additional training as needed;
• Ensure continuous community participatory;
• Chair regular community meetings, community trainings and community events;
• Develop education tools and materials, and design awareness campaigns.

The DRR Community Outreach Supervisonr should have the following qualifications:
• College graduate
• Working experience in community-based programs, community outreach and participatory methodologies
• Working experience in project management and team management
• Studies and/or working experience in the Disaster Risk Management field
• Have excellent communication skills
• French, Creole and English Fluency
