Is seeking a RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ANALYST for its office in
Port au Prince, Haiti,


Fonctions

Under the supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and the Country Manager, the Resource Management Analyst (RMA) is responsible for the overall management of the office’s budget and expenses, and for executing a wide range of administrative, accounting, financial and human resources activities and transactions for the office. Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Assist managers in the formulation of office budget. Monitor, review and report on the use of the Country Office budget. Provide information, analysis and cost-effectiveness of resources.

Review, process and execute a variety of accounting and resource management transactions related to the office’s business, in strict adherence to policies and procedures.

Maintain bank accounts, monitor expenditures and ensure adequate balances to cover expenses and liaise with local bank officials; extract and prepare monthly financial reports.

Administer country office Resource Management policies and procedures, and provide guidance, advice and interpretation.

Establish, implement and maintain effective internal controls over the office’s financial transactions. (Note that the organization uses the SAP Accounting framework).

Maintain office facilities, manage vendor contracts, liaise with building property management, and ensure safety and comfort of work environment.

Liaise with other international agencies and various government ministries to facilitate the work of this organization.

Independently, and as part of a team, conduct needs assessments, carry out research to identify product sources, monitor vendor performance and ensure timely delivery and quality of services; maintain on-going dialogue with local supplier community and keep abreast of market trends/prices.

Administer general office management, human resources and security.


Qualifications réquises

The successful candidate will possess:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Licence en Compatabilite ou Gestion, plus 3 years experience in relevant field.
Strong conceptual, analytical and evaluative skills.
Ability to operate sensitively in a multi-cultural environment.
Team player with collaborative, positive attitude and proven capacity to build and manage effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
Strong communication skills with excellent command of English, both oral and written.
Proficiency in the use of computer such as email system, Microsoft Excel etc.
SAP experience desirable.


Conditions particulières

This is a temporary position which could be extended.
