Introduction

Zanmi Lasante (ZL) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization that works to strengthen the health structures of the Ministry of Public Health (MSPP) to ensure access to standardized diagnostic and therapeutic services for its target population in the Central Plateau and Lower Artibonite. For more than 30 years, ZL has worked alongside the MSPP in providing evidence-based care and training to health care personnel through the implementation of a hospital residency program after the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010.

ZL is a sister organization of Partners in Health (PIH) based in Boston, Massachusetts. It is affiliated with other organizations and initiatives in Rwanda, Lesotho, Malawi, Peru, Mexico, Russia, Sierra Leone, Liberia and the Navajo Nation. ZL and PIH partner with leading hospitals and universities, particularly in the United States, to ensure access to highly specialized services and to help standardize training activities.


Fonctions

The Health Information Systems Product Manager will be a key member of the Health Systems team within the Strategic Information Systems Department, which is responsible for cross-site planning and support for clinical and community health software platforms and data management. The Product Manager will be the lead analyst for Zanmi Lasante (ZL) electronic medical record system, OpenMRS, collaborating with a team of clinicians, data analysts and software developers to establish a road map of new features, tools, and upgrades that bring digital health transformation to care delivery. The Product Manager will design and lead needs assessments and requirements analysis to establish priorities for expanding and improving OpenMRS implementations, including data management and reporting needs. The Product Manager will also support the Medinfo Manager for long-term system planning and road map development across all health information systems.


Qualifications réquises

· Act as product manager/business analyst for ZL’s electronic medical record system, OpenMRS, including the gathering and development of end user requirements and design of solutions.
· Collaborate with ZL site and Boston PIH staff to promote effective system monitoring and evaluation via feedback, user research, building relationships with stakeholders, and conducting activities such as needs assessments and usability testing.
· Conduct capacity building with local staff at care delivery sites on effective product management/business analysis practices.
· Be a leading voice in product ownership activities, including prioritization of system features and overall management of product roadmap and project backlog, testing, and validation of system features against system requirements.
· Work with health information system team members and end users across ZL to develop a road map of software solutions that considers all work streams, functional areas, and technology.
· Ensure that ZL OpenMRS development plans align with the PIH OpenMRS roadmap and open source project objectives.
· Create documentation and training materials to support local trainers and users for new system adoption and to support the release of updates and new features.
· Serve as a subject matter expert on the PIH health information ecosystem, including additional clinical data systems and data management tools (such as CommCare and DHIS2).


Conditions particulières

Required:
• 5-8 years’ experience in software development and implementation, and/or health information systems, with at least 2-3 years as a product manager or business analyst
• Expertise building relationships and community with stakeholders including end users,
• Knowledge of and experience with full project management lifecycle, including addressing change management and business process improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and client service skills.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to identify, clarify, and negotiate competing viewpoints.
• Interest in global health and a commitment to building productive collaboration with global colleagues
• Bachelor’s degree in any field relevant to health, information systems, or software platforms
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
