Fonkoze is a family of organizations working with partners and other stakeholders to offer a holistic approach to reducing poverty in Haiti. It includes Fondasyon Kole Zepòl (Fonkoze), Sèvis Finansye Fonkoze and its holding company Fonkoze S.A., and Fonkoze USA, a non-profit organization registered in the USA which is in charge of fundraising and communication.

Sèvis Finansye Fonkoze, S.A. (“SFF”), the operating subsidiary of Fonkoze, S.A., is a Haitian microfinance company with a double bottom line: we aim to lift families and communities in Haiti out of poverty while operating in a financially self-sustaining manner. SFF was established to provide capital and a full range of financial services to disadvantaged and low-income segments of society expanding the financial services work introduced by the Fonkoze Foundation in 1994. Today, SFF offers a wide range of financial services including group and individual loans, small business loans, savings products, international and domestic money transfer services, currency exchange services, payroll services, among others. As of September 30, 2020, SFF serves over 170,000 clients including 53,000 mainly female borrowers through a network of 44 offices and 1,900 credit centers located throughout Haiti’s ten departments. In terms of outreach, SFF is Haiti’s largest MFI and provides financial services to some of Haiti’s poorest citizens.

Fondasyon Kole Zepòl (the Foundation), is a Haitian non-profit organization founded in 1994 by Fr. Joseph Philippe CSSp and a group of grassroots Haitian organizations. The Foundation started Fonkoze’s microfinance programs and created SFF in 2004 to expand their work. Today, the Foundation provides development services alongside and in partnership with SFF to strengthen the capacity of underserved communities to access and use financial services more effectively, improve their livelihoods, and create prosperity.

Marketing, Communications and Public Relations
? Develop with the Marketing Director and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance brand identity, broaden awareness of program and increase visibility across key stakeholder audiences in Haiti.
? Write, update, edit and oversee production and design of printed materials
? Serve as primary media contact in Haiti; Implement PR strategies including media outreach, issuing press releases, fielding media inquiries and creating and maintaining media lists
? Act as "brand ambassador", ensuring proper and consistent use of naming conventions, brand attributes and logo in Haiti, in coordination with Fonkoze USA’s Director of Communications and Branding and SFF Marketing, R&D Director.
? Prepare photography and other media for publication and maintain digital media library in collaboration with Fonkoze USA’s Director of Communications and Branding.

Social Media, Website and E-Marketing
? Work with staff and contractors to develop and implement social networking strategies, develop content and monitor and respond to inquiries
? Write testimonials for Fonkoze USA, SFF website and social media managed by Fonkoze Foundation and/or SFF.
? Manage and execute email communications program, including quarterly e-newsletters, and campaign messages.

? Bachelor's degree; Proven experience in relevant position
? Tech savvy; proficient in MS Office, Google platforms, Adobe Creative Suite
? Advanced knowledge of social media
? Experience with graphic design and website management
? Self-motivated and able to work with minimal oversight
? Excellent time-management and organizational skills
? Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
? Detail-oriented and efficient
? Fluent in English, French and Creole

Status: Full Time employee of Sevis Finansye Fonkoze
Hours: Monday through Friday with some weekends/evenings
