Fonctions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Production MANAGER:
• Develop the manufacturing plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.
• Achieve performance level below the KPI Targets and Efficiency numbers.
• Formulate and recommend manufacturing policies and programs that guide in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.
• Direct and monitor Responsible and Supervisor to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with the customer SOP. Act as liaison between plant management/subordinate levels, as well as, executive/plant manager. Inform the team on, decisions, policies, and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes, and results.
• Consult with Human Resources Department as appropriate to hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff performance.
• Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap, and rework data. Direct MODULES towards improved implementation and maintenance of production standards.
• Maintenance and accuracy of data in our system
1. Inventory control.
2. Forecasting.
3. Production planning/scheduling.
4. Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.
• Direct and coordinate various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g., customer SOP, training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.).
• Keep current on information affecting functional areas to increase innovation and ensure compliance
• Performs all other work as apparent or assigned.
•Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Merchandiser
• Being able to forecast sales, stock, margin & promotions vs budgets
• Identifying opportunities and risks in product or merchandise planning
• Must be able to re-forecast and manage product need
• Understand and maintain all SKU data
• Plan and place orders for new lines according to agreed forecasts and phasing,
• Work with all suppliers and where the international sourcing office to ensure that all orders are delivered on time,
• Must be Key contact for inventory questions for areas of responsibility,
• Must be a liaise with the warehouse to ensure that inbound and outbound priorities are set according to company categories and plans,
• Ensure Stock and Space is available as planned; to ensure that relevant communication is sent to the warehouse regarding availability, product, and price/promotional activity.
• Making recommendations ensuring that you always have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time
• Control processes and routes by following each product
• Generate reports while developing good knowledge and conception of textile fibers, threads, fabrics, dyeing, printing, finishing, garment manufacturing, garment washing, garment dyeing, and the textile industry in general.
• Check and inspect textile materials and products, raw materials to ensure good quality of finished goods.
•Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.


Qualifications réquises

Qualifications Required for Production Manager
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS in industrial, mechanical or business administration, or a 4-year technical school
- 5 + years’ experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a process-oriented operation.
- Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Computer proficient with the ability to present functional specifications is a plus

Qualifications Required for Merchandiser:
- Degreed in Marketing/Merchandising/Retail/Business Degree and 2-4 years of related experience.
- Leadership, Management, Detail Oriented, Tactful, Works under pressure, Sales, Basic Business Principles, Good organizational skills
- Responsible, Goal Oriented, Customer Service, Negotiating skills, Orderly Minded, Initiative, Good Judgment, Determination, Confidence
- Multilingual Capacity (English, French, Creole, Spanish)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and applications
- Strong communication skills
- Close attention to detail is essential
- Comfortable with database navigation


Conditions de travail

Hours of Work: Monday to Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
