Ayiti Air Anbilans is the first and only helicopter emergency transport service in the country of Haiti. We fly the people and visitors of Haiti based solely on medical need. Ayiti Air Anbilans currently seeks an Emergency Helicopter Dispatcher for its Haiti communication center based in Port-au-Prince.

This position is exciting, fast-paced and serves as the brains of our operation. Duties consist of communications between referring hospitals, partners and receiving hospitals as well as with medical and flight crew. Radio, phone and email communications will be heavy.

• English is the official language of all aviation and therefore our operations, excellent fluency is required
• Must be fluent in reading and writing of English, Creole and French; Spanish a plus
• Must be able to multi-task and remain calm in emergency situations
• Basic computer skills required (word, excel, web-based programs)
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred
• Knowledge of basic aviation and meteorological terminology preferred
• Communications and public relations training a plus
• Prior experience with logistics and communications a plus
• Travel to the United States for training may be required

This position is supervised by the Program Director. It is based in Port-au-Prince.
